KEY INFORMATION

The company SIMEONIDIS TOURS is fully responsible for the correct execution of the itineraries carried out by itself as well as on the part of the partner offices.

Each passenger is kindly requested to carefully read the following General Conditions of Participation, which form an integral part of the travel contract, and the information, before proceeding with the purchase of any ticket from our company. Participation in any trip with our travel agency implies the client's unconditional acceptance of the General Conditions of Participation.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

1. ORGANISER (TOURIST OFFICE)

General Tourism Office under the name "SIMEONIDIS TOURS" in Thessaloniki, 26TH OCTOBER 14, EOT: 0933E60000080700.

2. CUSTOMER (TRAVELER)

You are the traveller who participates in one of our travel programmes either with an organised trip or on your own or as a member or with a friendly group, club, company etc. Your participation in one of our travel programs implies your unconditional acceptance of these terms of participation.

3. TICKET PURCHASE - PARTICIPATION

3.1 You can buy a ticket if you are over 18 years old. Otherwise, in order to participate in a trip, you must provide us with an affidavit from both guardians and, in any case, from the person exercising parental authority, that they authorise you to participate, each of which must be certified by a certified signature.

3.2 Ticket reservations and purchases are made either online, via email, or from our physical offices. The reservation of a seat requires the payment of the ticket and the acceptance of the specific terms of participation.

3.3 Registrations are accepted up to a few hours before the departure of the trip, if the available seats are not already filled.

3.4 Each traveler can participate in the trips organized by our office only after paying the prescribed amount for the trip. There is no possibility of advance payment.

3.5 In case the reservation was not made by the traveler who will travel but through a third person, the person who made the reservation undertakes to follow all the procedures set by our office with these terms of participation. Any information given to the traveler by the third party and not related to our travel data, is the responsibility of the traveler and our office is not responsible for what the traveler was not properly informed about his trip.

3.6 The tickets constitute a single transport document. Tickets without the office stamp are not valid.

3.7 Single tickets are valid for the day and itinerary issued and cannot be transferred to another person.

4. TRIP PRICES

4.1 The agency reserves the right to adjust the price when cost factors change.

4.2 Children from 0-12 years old may get a discount on ticket prices.

4.3 Some tickets offer special prices to students (domestic & international) upon presentation of a pass.

4.4 A disabled ticket category is available on some tickets, with the customer having to show a disability card.

5. OBLIGATIONS - RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ORGANISER

5.1 The company SIMEONIDIS TOURS is fully responsible for the correct execution of the itinerary. The agency makes every effort to meet the expectations of the travellers and has the obligation to coordinate and execute in the best possible way the trips available to the travellers.

The agency is not responsible for extraordinary situations such as border delays or transit restrictions due to strikes, acts of terrorism, pandemics, etc. or other extraordinary factors.

5.2 SIMEONIDIS TOURS reserves the right to modify, interrupt, postpone or cancel the itineraries without any liability for payment of any claim.

5.3. Before and during the trip, the agency has the right to make changes if an extraordinary event or force majeure (weather conditions, declaration or threat of war, revolutions, political upheavals, strikes, accidents, extremist actions, technical traffic obstructions, breakdowns) is to be dealt with. In such cases, all exceptional costs, other than those of repatriation, shall be borne by the travellers.

5.4 Compensation for any damage or loss of baggage is paid in accordance with the applicable provisions.

5.5 The company does not accept liability for damage to hand luggage.

6. OBLIGATIONS - RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRAVELLERS

6.1 Participation in a trip implies appropriate social behaviour and understanding towards fellow travellers and organisers (escorts).

6.2 The traveller is responsible for arriving at the assembly points on time. In case of delay and inconsistency of the traveller leading to the loss of the travel service, the traveller is not entitled to a refund.

6.3 The traveller is responsible for providing correct personal information during the booking process.

6.4 A valid travel document is required for all international travellers. The traveller must obtain the necessary information through the competent Greek or foreign consular authorities for the issuance of the necessary visas and travel documents. The office cannot know the required documents of each traveller and is not responsible if there is a failure to issue them. In the event of a problem occurring during border crossing, the office is not responsible, no refunds will be made and there is no other obligation for compensation, as the incident is the fault of the traveller.

6.5 Each passenger is responsible for the contents of his/her baggage before the administrative and customs authorities.

6.6 The carriage of goods is not permitted.

6.7 Each passenger may carry up to 2 pieces of luggage weighing a total of 20 kg. (applies to bus lines)

6.8 Each passenger is responsible for his/her personal belongings and in case of loss the office is not responsible.

6.9 Passengers are required to have labels with their full details affixed to their baggage.

7. CANCELLATIONS - AMENDMENTS

7.1 Requests for refund are accepted 48 hours before the departure of the itinerary at the latest and only by the office that issued the ticket. In any other case, the right to a refund is lost.

7.2 It is not possible to transfer the ticket to another person. Each ticket is a named ticket.

7.3 Requests to change the date of travel can be made at least 48 hours before the trip with the possibility of being asked to pay a special fee. In the case of (OPEN) return tickets, the carrier is not obliged to carry the passenger if the passenger has not confirmed the reservation 48 hours before the trip
